I started AI Tools for Kids to explore AI together with my own children. We've turned their drawings into cartoons, created personalized storybooks for first-day-of-school anxiety, made plush toys of their favorite characters, and even built custom coloring pages from their TV shows.

And as we kept experimenting, something became clear: AI isn't just for adults — it's an incredible creativity unlock for kids. But here's what also became clear: most parents have no idea which AI tools are actually safe, age-appropriate, or worth the money.
